CONFIRMED: HTC Incredible’s RAM/ROM

So, more info on the HTC Incredible from Verizon…….

I haven’t gotten a ton of information, and it seems to be trickling in…but here at DroidTalk, we’re giving you official word: The HTC Incredible coming soon to a Verizon store near you has 6.6gb on device storage!! Obviously the device is designed to also sport a MicroSD card, assuming a 32gb, once they’ve reached the masses. Also, it seems that it’s running .86gb RAM! With those specs, I just might be able to let that back battery door cover slide….

I, for one, can’t wait for this device to finally hit stores!

Correction To Our Flash of Genius Review and Interview

During our interview and subsequent review of the Flash of Genius: SAT Vocab app we failed to acknowledge the developer of the Android application Evan Ernst, for this we apologize.

Tim Novikoff is the owner of Flash of Genius LLC, and the main developer of the iPhone version of Flash of Genius: SAT Vocab. Tim partnered with independent Android developer, Evan Ernst, for the Android version.  Evan looked at the completed iPhone version and created the Android version himself, adding additional features that weren’t in the iPhone version, such as the shake-to-skip feature.

We’re posting the correction to right our wrong and to give credit where credit is do.  Good job Evan, we’re looking forward to seeing future iterations of Flash of Genius.  Maybe a medical terminology app for those of us embarking on a second career in medicine.

Thanks to Tim for pointing out our error.

Share DroidTalk with Your Friends via Google Buzz

Google Buzz is shaping up to be an interesting new way to share content with your Gmail friends and fellow Buzzards (Buzz Followers).  Now along with sharing your Flicker, Twitter, Picasa, and youTube content you can share interesting blog posts with the “Buzz This” button.

Our new Google Buzz button now makes it possible for you to share DroidTalk articles with other Buzzards. In order for the “Buzz This” button to work you’ll need to make sure you’ve set up Google Reader and included that in your “Connected Sites” on Buzz. If you already had a Reader account before setting up Buzz, chances are that’s already set up for you.

Try it now: click “Buzz This.”

Happy buzzing!

If you have a blog you’d like to add a “Buzz This” button to follow the directions posted here from the developer.

DroidTalk on Accuracy and Transparency in Reporting

Wow, it’s been a busy day here at the world headquarters of DroidTalk. We’ve fielded a truck load of e-mail inquiries, some nice and some not so nice.

Let’s address the not so nice e-mail from a competitor. One of our competitors sent us an e-mail this morning complaining about the way we handled yesterdays Walmart Nexus One rumor and the Sprint HTC Supersonic rumor and subsequent photos that have appeared across the internet.

“We realize you’re new to the game, they you handle things is not the way its done. When a rumor is found to false you edit your post with update. Please stop making rest of us look bad.”

Really? We’re making you look bad? How are we doing that?

I can only guess they’re talking specifically about our Walmart Nexus One update because we haven’t covered the HTC Supersonic at the length others have. Read more…
