Google’s Android Doubles Its Market Share

comScore released their report on the state of the U.S. mobile market for the last quarter of 2009 and it shows that Androids market growth doesn’t show signs of slowing down.

While RIM is still the leader with a 41.6% market share, a 1% drop from September of 2009.  Apple has gained slightly moving up from 24.1% to 25.3%.  The exciting news for those of us following the growth of Google’s Android OS is the jump from 2.5% to 5.2%.  If Android keeps doubling its market share it won’t be long before Google and Apple are battling it out for a top spot.

Despite recent price cuts which made their smartphones one of the cheapest on the market, the biggest loser this quarter was Palm down from 8.3% to 6.1% a 2.2 percentage point drop.  Microsoft dropped on percentage point from 19% to 18% market share.

How to Increase Your Twitter Followers

Let’s say you’re interested in the latest iPhone applications or that you’re a fan of the reality TV show Big Brother.  You can type in either of these search terms in the search box located on the right of your Twitter home page.  Some say you should type your search phrase like this #iPhone or #Big Brother.  Honestly I have search both way and haven’t noticed any big difference in the displayed results.

Kuru Footwear

So I just ordered a new pair of Kuru Footwear and can’t wait to get them on my tired aching feet.

Here’s a pic of what I ordered:

Typically I alternate between my Dansko clogs and my Merrell Chameleon II’s. Well my Merrell’s have finally bit the dust and it was time to buy a new pair. I usually by my Merrell’s over at OnlineShoes.com while browsing I came across the Kuru Java, liked the look but wasn’t sure about sizing. After doing a little research and reading the technology behind the shoe I knew I had to give them a try.

Check back here for my review once I receive the shoes and have the time to give them a test walk.
